Model Those Shirts People (0)
Published on February 3rd, 2009. By The Taddict, under General.
I have to highlight another solid post from fellow T-shirt blogger Coty Gonzales. It was written by t-shirt and belt designer John Wye. He explained the pitfall of going too big when it comes to the photo shoot before you launch your brand. Then he followed that up with a do-it-yourself solution that you’d be crazy not to try. Hell of a post with some great advice. The good news is, it is only part 1 of a series. We’ll be waiting for the next installment…
Mark Ward: T-Shirt Designer (2)
Published on February 2nd, 2009. By The Taddict, under T-Shirt Design.
This guy’s work is sick. I stumbled across Mark Ward’s skills while reading Mash Kulture on a post about his collaboration with Burton Snowboards. I am hooked on the t-shirt with the sunglasses and the matching hat. It was certainly enough talent for the Taddict to check out his personal portfolio and apparently many of the big names in apparel have recognized his art.
First I need you to go to Mash Kulture to look at the pictures of what Burton has coming up. Then click on the screen shot below to see the rest of Mark’s folio.
Mark, if you have found this and are available for an interview….we’d be honored to get that rollin’.
Hip-Hop Tees You Should Buy (2)
Published on February 1st, 2009. By The Taddict, under T-Shirt Lines.
Now the Taddict is very aware that there are thousands of hip hop themed t-shirts across the interwebs and I am not claiming these are the only two. The thing is though, these two that I want to share have struck a chord with me. The first, “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop”, is based off a Diddy phrase that he has littered throughout almost every rap song that he has ever produced. It is brought to us by Heroine Clothing and isn’t just the typical typographical tee either:
The other is from the Taddict regular – Word Apparel. Not only is the artwork pretty sick but it features what it looks like to go from “a Goon to a Goblin”. It you feel what I typed in the quotes, then you feel Lil’ Wayne.
