I just thought we could start the day off with a little election themed t-shirt news. I am proud to say that the t-shirt blog niche won a small victory with Karl Long of Tcritic getting some main stream publicity in an interview with the Huffington Post. They wanted to get his thoughts on the Presidential candidates t-shirts and you can read all about it here:

In another election t-shirt article from the Houston Chronicle, a lady was told she couldn’t vote because she had a souvenir t-shirt that she picked up from a recent trip to Alaska. It had no reference to Sarah Palin and eventually she was allowed to vote. She lucked out in comparison to another lady in the same article who voted in her bra after she was forced to take off her Obama shirt:

I’d heard about people being warned off wearing politically related tees to polling stations, but I didn’t think that people would actually get in trouble for it, who would’be thought that wearing a tee could be considered electioneering, crazy.
