Hey DBH, where the hell are the winners of the FTSK contest? (5)

Remember when DBH announced a t-shirt design contest for the band Forever The Sickest Kids? Do you remember ever seeing a winner announced? Well that’s because there hasn’t been a winner and either DBH or the band is the cause for the hold up. On an email I sent to DBH on August 7th, DBH claimed that they were waiting on the bands decision and that the winner should be announced in a week at the most. Well guess what, the Warp tour is over so if you submitted a design it want be on the tour So what about the other prizes that were suppose to be given: cash prize of 1000, itunes credit, & signed goodies from the band? A winner needs to be announced soon – many artist spent hours and hours working designs only to be put in limbo on finding out if they won or not.

Known for their photo surrealistic style, Imaginary Foundation is really one of those shops that sets a new style for t-shirt design. Prices are usually around the $30 mark which is a little high, but for an occasional purchase to off set your already bland t-shirt collection it might be worth it. Love the ribbon design!

TeeFury’s first logo tee on sale now – and almost sold out (4)

Supposedly the guys at TeeFury are planning on doing a logo t-shirt every month or so. This one is going fast! Next month there is talk of a bird logo with a pirate tee.

our current plan is to provide a new teefury design once a month, each one will be unique in one way or another, either by colorway, or by theming out the bird in some way.
For example, on september 19th we have Talk Like a Pirate Day, so we may offer a TF bird with an eye patch or a swash buckling sword or even a peg leg – you just never know -layne

I am always pleased to see new and unique stores with a twist such as this new store called Use Small Words. The store uses famous quotes from various authors, thinkers, and poets from the past to create a nice little niche among the masses.

Seems as though Heartcore Clothing is testing out a new avenue – Every month they will offer a simple $10 design for pre-order. Not a bad idea, love how the market is leaning towards lower priced tees (aka, teefury, shirtwoot, etc).
