“Aegri Somnia is Latin and translates to “a sick man’s dreams” or, more loosely, “troubled dreams.” The design is an original illustration, assembled from vintage advertising cuts. It’s surreal nature mimics the strangest of dreamscapes, it’s symmetry a nod to reoccurring images that seem to creep into our sleep night after night. The text is backwards, only making vague sense when you look in a mirror, a take on the out of body experience that comes to many while they sleep.”
