Thanks for clearing things up. I will invest in one of your new designs and make a review once available. We all gain experience as we move forward. I would ask for a sample print before you authorize a full run.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('20','admin','Thanks for clearing things up.
OUCH!
O.K. - O.K.-
here's the deal- the Midnight Snack is actually printed with the same number of colors - just a bad image of the guy wearing it i guess.
when i first started up - i was kinda clueless - but the printer i used then totally messed up the Not So Scary and Homesick Friend designs as well as a few others. I apologize to the designers for this. I had spent a considerable amount of money and could not afford to have them re-printed - and made the decision to put them up anyway - bad decision? maybe. we still have several other designs to choose from where the colors are not an issue.

I just hope people will continue to try and give us a chance. we are working with a much better printer now and have no issues on any of the new designs. once the 5 and 10$ items are sold out - they will not be available again.

have you seen the new design contest?
it can be seen here:

"And it looks like they printed fewer colors than in the original designs, probably to lower the cost."

just seems lazy to me... the cost to print a shirt once you have purchased blank is only in the cents.. good point about the thin lines
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('15','admin','\"And it looks like they printed fewer colors than in the original designs, probably to lower the cost.\"\r\n\r\njust seems lazy to me... the cost to print a shirt once you have purchased blank is only in the cents.. good point about the thin lines'); return false;">Quote

The pixel-thin lines in the first design would be pretty impossible to print, which explains the thicker lines and likely the lack of detail (though some of that detail would have been shirt-color, which you can print more finely than ink, so I don't know...). And it looks like they printed fewer colors than in the original designs, probably to lower the cost.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('14','Joe','The pixel-thin lines in the first design would be pretty impossible to print, which explains the thicker lines and likely the lack of detail (though some of that detail would have been shirt-color, which you can print more finely than ink, so I don\'t know...).
